Thermography

We have a certified infra red Thermographer, who is registered with the infraspection institute.

Thermography (Infra Red Inspections) is crucial to the diagnosis of the integrity of the installation. When there is an increased resistance (Caused by loose connections, conductor damage, faulty equipment manufacturing or overload conditions) the current flow is restricted and therefore an increase in temperature arises. By monitoring the installation with these inspections we are able to identify possible future failures and report these according to their level of urgency.

Imminent failures need to be rectified immediately to ensure continuous electrical supply and operation. Other levels are of a less serious nature and recommendations and corrective actions will be included in the reports.

Our objective is to provide you as the client with a remedial action plan to keep electrical outages to a minimum thereby increasing production.
